Bodegas Bohorquez
We have selected the highest places with the poorest and rockier soils of the Duero to plant our
vines. Duplicating the density compared with the habits of the region, we try to promote the
competition and reduce the production in a natural way.
Those two aspects are linked with the quality; we have a unique concentration of plants per
hectare for a unique wine. In this hostile environment for the vegetation the vines grow up,
transmitting to theirs clusters all the essences of the soil; small grapes clusters who keep in their
solid skin the secret of our wine.
Although the geographic situation, altitude and latitude, guaranteed a slow maturation, we also
work in the vineyard to help this phenomenon, with advanced pruning, cluster extraction, and
others labours. What is produced slowly has always a better result.
